I had a weird realization. I grew up Christian, and I even believe in Christ. But when it comes to the idea of religion, I can’t stand it. These books were made to help people individually, not to enslave humanity. But seems the paradox of everything religions talk about. It’s kinda like the mushroom paradox of the thing you can’t think about, and talk about. You can’t ever say it because you can’t remember what you were thinking when you’re about to say it. You can’t remember forgetting… it seems that my memory is pretty perfect. But it’s as if, you only remember important shit, because as you create shit as God, you forget old shit because it just doesn’t exist anymore, and things are constantly changing, and that’s why you lose shit…
Anyways, my girlfriend was telling me and my friend about this youth pastor who hated all secular music. And he was telling this girl that she couldn’t listen to Switchfoot. And the thing was, this band was Christian, but because he had never heard of them, he listened to them, and he was like “Their not singing about Christ! You can’t listen to this CRAP!” My friend responded, “I hope that when he goes to Heaven, God slaps him in the face!” I replied, “Eh… I don’t think Christians are going to Heaven.”
